"the era of procrastination, of half-measures, of soothing and baffling expedients, of delays, is coming to a close. in its place we are entering a period of consequences."
-sir winston churchill.

i thought this quotation was really interesting and thought-provoking.
after civics today, it sort of hit my mind hard when miss quek questioned me all of a sudden, 'andre which category did you fall into?'
no doubt, i replied fervently, 'moderate procrastinator'.
within split seconds, i managed to comprehend the euphemism behind it.
this school thing is starting to split my head apart.

"Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, on"
-sir winston churchill.

quotation hunting has more or less spurred me on to work harder.
no matter how badly i did for mid years (or how well), i should move on, learning from it. finally, i should leave a quote behind for all.

"You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life."
